Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?

would work well in dunedin, I rarely travel more than 20 miles in a day, it's more like about 10km round trip, plus half the trip is down hill so it would be charging on that section

Yea, i would defnitaly b a comuter bike not a turing bike, but there is a lot of people who could easly use them to get to work then go home again.

But yea, there is defnitaly a lot of room 4 improvement... i beleave stock they are using lead acid batteys... so going up to NIMH would make a big difrence... and if you could aford it and wanted to have all that Li siting between ur knee's u could go up to LiION...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rechargeable_battery

so if you were to go to liION u would get ~ 5- 7 x the range for the same battery weight!.. so thats like a range over over 100 Mil's.!!

Electric vehicles are daft and will be until they find a way to shorten the charge time.

Bio Ethanol is the way to go. I can imagine Dover's reaction to putting alcohol in his tank though!
