    Riding lessons

    Hi guys and gals,
anyone interested in increasing your skill base, and confidence with motorcycle riding, then I am able to help you. I am a fully qualified motorcycle instructor, approved by LTNZ. I also have a diploma in motorcycle instruction.

I am prepared to travel, as long as there are a couple of people in one area, who will take lessons one after the other.

If you would like more information, email me on triciaoconnor@xtra.co.nz or phone me on 021 269 3246.

I teach all standards, except the Basic Handling skills Test. So from learner licence to police standard.

Actually, it is she. I live in Whangaparaoa, but to a certain extent I am prepared to travel. I have travelled to Tauranga before for lessons, once there is more than one person prepared to take lessons, within a 24 hour period. Lessons around
    auckland or elsewhere, no problem.

Out of curiousity, how do you get to be a 'fully qualified motorcycle instructor' and approved by LTNZ?
Where can you study for a Diploma in Motorcycle instruction?
    Sounds interesting.

Hi Korea, In order to become LTNZ recognised as an instructor, there are five unit standard exams to be taken.
I received my Diploma in Advanced Motorcycle instruction in england, from the (ROSPA) or ROADA organisation. Which basically is the Royal Society for the prevention of accidents. http://www.roada.org.uk/

    Hi Unforgiven,
the cost would be $200 for four hours. Well worth it..... check out http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...t=29971&page=3. As regards costs, if I come up to Whangerei, then I would need a minimum of two four hour sessions, either concurrently, or on consecutive days. If you come down to me, then just one four hour session would be OK.

    Chick teacher, w00t

So what does a 4 hour session include/cover?

    -Indy
Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!

Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.

    Hi Indy,
A four hour session would consist of an assessment ride, lasting about 10 - 15 minutes. (This normally gives more than enough weak areas to work on.) The weak areas and the strong areas are discussed, and then a lesson plan is created, taking into account the weak areas, but also any other topic that the student particularly wants to improve on i.e. slow speed manoeuvring, lane splitting, overtaking, or pre-test requirements.
    HTH,
    Tricia
