Hmmm some of them pointed out quite well that guns under safety gear could be dangerous in crash (metal bits digging into you and breaking bones, etc...) I noticed that there was a link to a tank bag with gun holster... hehe cool.
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........

Forget carrying weapons, the big question on every ones mind: is it legal to mount guns onto the bike?

Amazing how the thought of "mad Yanks, carrying guns while riding their bikes, hate to live there" kind of stuff makes us feel heappps better.

While here twin babies get killed, school-girls kidnapped, security couriers robbed at gunpoint, power out for weeks due to snow, the leader of the country has a penchant for telling porkies... oh yeah, New Zealand is sooo much better.....

None of that, except the last, affects me. So I'd rather be here than shot by some mouth breahing NRA member who objects to my 'vigorous' lane splitting.
At least our drivers have to get close to kill us.

At least people in NZ don't threaten to kill when someone cuts them off.

At least, not with any real intent.

Or, at least, not with a gun to back them up.

We can't deny that shitty things happen here every day. Those same shitty things happen everywhere, sometimes more often in other countries. Personally, I'm stoked that the emotionally immature people I run into (figuratively of course) most days, don't have access to firearms. That's a problem we don't need on top of the other shit. There are so many uplifting things occurring around us, that don't make the news, that deserve equal attention-time with the shit-stuff. We can't afford to ignore problems but we definitely need to remember balance and perspective. Let's not forget the good stuff like friends, family and motorcycles. Damn, I'll have to banish myself to an interior decorating site soon.
I do believe that New Zealand is the best place to be. It's why I'm here. Like most Kiwis I've looked around too. Finally, all politicians lie, all systems break down at the edges of their capacity, and in all seriousness, I honestly appreciate the work that the feds do to reduce the odds of bad guys getting away with shit. End of sermon.

Neither does some gun-toting guy in the USA affect you...

And yet all the other items I mentioned affect somebody somewhere in NZ - but we still sit back smug-like and say "pah, ferkin' mad pricks, glad I live in NewZiland, don't get THAT shit here" - but hold on, what about the shit we DO get here?
Is it a "feel-good" thing to focus on the Yank gun-toting issue (knowing it will never be a problem here) so we can gloss over our own problems?

Crazy but I guess when every second person over there is a Gang banger its a needed add-on for ever biker.

Plus if you look at half the bikes they have posted they look like they have a lot of mods.

Plus its prolly harder to get a CBR over there?!? I know to get Jap cars is hard so is it the same for bikes?
