Hey Have you managed to get your bike picked up yet. I may have a slight chance of getting the work truck tomorrow to help you out. Not 100% sure that I can but I want to help you out. PM for my details.

Methinks there's quite a bit of learning in this for you! Got a bicycle?

Shit dude! Sorry to hear about your bike. Sounds like you had the right gear on though. So count yourself lucky!

Has anyone stepped up with a van/trailer yet?

Surely riding without a license and being hit by a car would be treated as two seperate things?

Sorry to hear that. Shit I can't stand poncy 4x4s drivers at the best of times. Hearing that just confirms yet again how so many of those arrogant pricks think they own both sides of the road, and all other vehicles should move aside as they pass and bow in reverence to their stuck up tastes in ugly boxes. Is it part of their ownership training to cut every bloody corner.
Bummer you had no licence and insurance. That sort of makes it pointless contacting the Police and I can't see how you can claim on their insurance if you can't lodge a claim with your own Co. first?

In the mean time (unless someone has helped already) get out there somehow and chain it up - at least til tomorrow. Don't wanna come back and find it gone...

Sorry to hear of the bin mate !! ... If no one can help ya before hand I'm free from 3.30pm tomorrow. I'll hire a trailer and we can go get it if it's still there ...

One question ... did this happen in the gorge itself ...?? I only ask this as it's marked a no passing zone with a really boring 70 or 80kph speed limit ....

Anyway ... PM me if you still need help tomorrow OK ??

    2nd that

The gear did it's job that's the main thing, your lucky to basically have walked away from it.

As for the other aspects, mark one down to lessons learned not to be repeated and move on.

Fuck, bummer dude. Glad you're okay. If I was a bit closer I'd give you a hand to collect it, anyway, I'd go back tonight if I were you whether you can afford it or not... borrow some money if you have to!
