    GSXR Vs Blade???

Ok here is the deal. See what you think...

Had Gixers for about 8-9 years. Loved them, had them in the UK and in NZ.

So thought it was time to go Honda, you know give it a go, keep hearing how good they are and such high quality. "they handle so much better than ya Gixer.' Was heard every week at the Pub.

Any way did it, bought a 2005 Repsol Honda, fucking beautiful.

This is where it kind of goes to shit, road it for about 3 weeks, started of pretty well, then realised every time i got off the bike some more paint was missing, chips, then the electrics shit out, then the rear shock completely died and had to be replaced, had a very hairy moment on a KB Thursday night ride.

Long story short, apart from the radiator starting to leak, is that this bike now feels like riding a pogo stick on wheels, at the best of times i am lucky to get round a corner without shitting myself. As for riding in the wet which made me need to bleach another pair of undies this bike is OK, and after all it is suposed to be better quality and a better ride.

Think its back to the good old, service ones a year, rape the shit out of, wheely when you want, corners like a Skyline on P, looks like the bogs bollocks GSXR.

    What do ya reckon???

    Hmmmmmmm

By most accounts it appears that the CBR1000 wasn't all it should've been reliability wise

Could do Sparky, would probably work out costing me the same as just changing to another bike. Guess i just lost faith in it to be honest.

Harden up.. you carn't blame your riding stylse on teh bike.

    Bloody Poms .. i dunno

ps... here's something to consider if you do swap out...

    • Honda... Hard to get round teh corner but you do
    • Gixxer.. won't fail you getting round teh corner.. but you'll be on your side

Hey.. all good fun; Theres Lemons where ever you go or what ever you buy.. Just look at Dover and his bike... one more lemon and you'd hit the jackpot!!! no.. wait.. Theres Vixter.. that makes 3 which = the JackPot $$$$$$$$$

Can't blame you for losing faith in it! They've must've started the build on the Friday before 'Golden Week' and finished it when they got back after a little too much sake. Hope the boys at Honda are taking care of you and putting things right.
