Do they rate the exhaust dB at its maximum or at a certain RPM?
My stock Beemer can has 94dB at 7500 RPM stamped on it. It could be just an EC mark.
The Akrapovic full system has 98 dB stamped on it. No RPM though.
Just an associated question.

Heres the website. http://www.laserexhausts.com/en/docu...195/bikes.html
Not enough detail in pics, but it could be very similar to the racefit slashcut, as cowpoos mentioned. The racefit version has zilch baffle, muffling etc. Its a piece of titanium basically. Your one Fishslayer, may or may not have something inside the fairing, sorta like the gsxr 600/750 stubby.
Personally I love the clean look, with only an opening on the side. Really really wanted to fit one to my bike, but with mates reckoning it stands at 115db at the moment, fitting a slashcut would (rough estimation) push it to around 140db, which is nuts, as I would go deaf, and still have bleeding ears, no matter what earplugs I got.
Would be a perfect solution for me as well though, as my pipe comes out at an angle, and I scrape it on the odd objects.![]()
Only thing you need to check on, is making sure you have enough back pressure etc, don't want to be screwing everything up... I sadly will have to wait for another bike, before I can find out![]()
