poorbastard, there are LTNZ approved courses which cut down your licence time and count as the actual test aswell. Check out roadsafe.co.nz, that's where I'll be doing mine, I did my first basic handling skills test there a while ago too. The full licence test is a really good full day course apparently.

well, DD is generaly a boring course. mine wasn't too bad, opened my eyes for a few things, but thats pretty much it.

Thanks for the heads up too. I'm going to do a DD to shorten my licence and it was interesting seeing a bit of what its about.
