    The World's Fastest Indian

Director Roger Donaldson has signed up Anthony Hopkins to star in The World's Fastest Indian. The movie is based on the life of Burt Monro, a New Zealander who invested several decades building a 1920 Indian motorcycle. He then traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where he set the land-speed world record in the 1970s.

Production is due to start in New Zealand in August.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    - James Dickey, Cherrylog Road.

Couldn't have picked a better actor. Hopkins even looks alot like Munro.

About time this guy was honoured in some way, hope a movie will come out right,y'know how they twist the truth for a good story.A mate of mine went down to see Bert back in the day, said he was hard case alright.Mrs Munro lived on Waiheke when I was there,I used to go and pick up her Simca to work on,I never mentioned Bert, but she was just a normal little old lady.

I'm sure he'll do a fine Australian accent.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
