    Suzuki coils

hiya, would these coils work on with a GSX600?

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...n-60210888.htm

My plug covers shat themselves and there be some water getting in under the seals now. Not so bad when the bike is running as it evaporates fairly quickly, but when sitting out in the rain all day while at the orifice...well, you get my drift.

$200 for a new set ex jappa, but dont want to hafta wait three weeks.

If these are no good, does anyone know of a set?

    Cheers

In my experience with the Impulse i had, were that the stock colis were rubbish. I replaced them with CB900 ones and it ran perfect after that.

i reckon you would be better off sticking away from early suzuki coils full stop for your GSX.

Cheers mega and thanks for the advice. I'll keep my eyes peeled. So, are coil sets fairly generic and can they be interchanged with different makes and cc's?

hmm, not too sure which would be compatible with what sorry. I had my coils done for the impulse for reasonable price by Richards Motorcyles in Johnsonville for a good price...bearing in mind that was about 13 years ago.

If you give him a ring im sure he will be able sort you out mate.

Suzuki coils in the 80's are known to crap out, if you have the bucks to spare get a set of Dyna coils, do a google and look at they webb site to get the right ones.
you will still need leads & caps.
Made a big differance to my old GSXR.

Yep Dyna coils are the go! Get the right Ohm rating or the CDI is toast.
    Call Alan 07 849 3100 ext 2 for a price.
