Two Smokers injury update update update (27/06)

    Hey Everyone,

Just got back from a nerve conduction test... Good news, looks like I will probably make a full recovery. Whilst I have stretched my brachial plexus quite far, all the nerves are working as are the muscles. Still have some numbness on my inner arm, and some nerve pain. But alot of my strength has returned with the only major problem being external rotation.

Plenty more physio to go but hopefully back at work shortly...

    Cheers, Chris

Hey Chris are you only doing external rotating exercises with Physio or are you doing some at home etc?.

A good idea may be to get a rubber resistance band from you physiotherapist and keep at the exercises while at home too.

Nope it was a real question. You are thinking of elevation and depression

Yep got some of the stretchy band stuff to do exercises at home... Hopefully it will improve over the next few weeks...

Good stuff bro, just keep at it and you'll eventually get the strength back in those rotator cuff muscles.

Good to hear you'll be OK.

With all my injuries (broken arms, knee reconstruuction and broken neck) I've found one of the most important things is not to slack off after finishing the physio. Keep up the exercises and you'll be fine
