RG 500 madness. I want one.

I found this posted on the oldskoolsuzuki site. What the RG500 can become with a bit of work.
I think I need one - just for nipping down to the shop, of course.

It's a showbike that gets ridden everywhere, the running joke around here is that he would be buried with it, so I really should try and get hold of him and make sure it's not part of a deceased estate!

Stop sniffing the two stroke oil boys. It'd drive you batty after you had to change out the plugs for the second time on one ride.

    Looks really cool though!

Dear god.... 101rwhp for the one on trademe!

Here I was thinking that 60hp would be a handful from a 250 stroker... Must be fricken loud too.

    Nice looking bike.

I have a book at work with a couple of RG500s in it but that one's really good.

Have a look at this RD350. Now this would look lovely in my gargre.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

There was a pretty tidy RG500 being raced at Taupo in the last VMCC round.

Then they should tune it correctly and put the correct plugs in it...

We had 20 odd (some very odd) RGs at the 20th anniversary meting at Taupo last year. Bloody good weekend.
