But let's ask the real question - If money and demerit points (for some) were no object what would you fill your 6 motorcycle garage with (we are talking bikes here people)

My list would read something like this: New BMW 1200s, Hyuabusa, GSX1400 with Nos, Aprilla RSV1000R, Duck 999, KDX250, V-Rod (everyone needs a
    laugh!)
Ha Ha Ha, I can imagin why the GSX1400 has NOS. The last one I saw on a dyno only managed 98hp at the rear wheel, only 1 hp more than my GSXR600 at 97hp
Im not the Ghost Rider, he rides too slow.

Don't most bikes have radiators???? My POS 1987 Yammie fzr250 has one for cryin out loud. I would hardly call the piece a half car??

I'm not exaggerating when I say that after anyone has ridden this bike for any length of time, they're not keen to get back on in a hurry................ 5 different riders with different riding styles and preferences reached virtually the same conclusions about the MV. ................... After shelling out 14000 (POUNDS that is!) I'd be inclined to take the MV straight back to where I bought it from."

Sorry but this doesn't exactly inspire me to want to buy an MV F4 eh? Lucky?? Hmmmmmmmmm.

While I would agree at slow speeds the F4 (750 by the way) is a little uncomfortable, when the speeds reach 80ish (mph) thing really start click into place.. I would not like to comute on one But that is why we have other bikes

    Lucky??? I think so
    Because I can......................

Yeah, well, most water-cooled bikes have a radiator

And if it has one it's well on its way to being a 'half-car'

My apologies then. In one part they had said they hoped the litre bike was a 750 improved a bit with a major kinda power transplant, but were disappointed when it was a worse bike to ride.

Maybe I need to get me an XR400 motard so I am not riding a half car.

    .................as if!

Holy shit - you must be kidding me!! It sounds like you have had a bad experience mate, but come off it don't generalise. Honda's are famous the world over for their build quality and reliability. All the independant journalists say so as do the statistics. Sure there's bound to be some bad eggs out there.

My first ever bike was a DT125. It died a horrible death at just 6 months old. Some serious shit with the power valve and pistons If I remember correctly (you can tell I'm not mechanicaly minded!), but I'd never say all Yams are crap. Most yes - but not all.

Would have to agree with Biff Baff on that...... explain the VFR from 86 to the present, just one example The CX 500/650 Turbo is another one, these bikes are un fultable from mecanics to the paint finish.
Now I have only just gone back to Honda so I'm not intilely biest and FWIW the VTR isent up to the standards that the bikes were in the 70's, 80's & 90's but then its bloody good bang for buck.
    cheers DD
