Is it Gixxer or Jixxer??? How do you say it???

Well there was a big "debate" at the trackday down at Manfield about how you say Gixxer...

Is it Gixxer: Said with a G as in Garage and Gas etc...

Or is it Gixxer (Jixxer): Said with a G (or J) like Generator or Jail etc...

We've been through this you annoying little prick.

You need some third form English lessons again.

If a "G" is followed by an "I" or an "E", it's pronounced "ji"

As in giraffe or generator or genocide. Every thing else, and it's "ga" as in gap or go or gone.

    simple. See ya

    Consider it this way.

It was derived as a short cut to saying G S X R, say that real quick and do you say gixxer or jixxer?

    Case dismissed.
