Stink man, could have been worse......boss's son in Oz just went for a big slide. Broken leg in six places, left arm rendered unusable.
I gotta be careful on the way home, just had new Pilot Powers fitted....the big gay sticker on my triple clamps should remind me. "Warning New Tyres Fitted"
    Be careful out there.....

Lol...I know of a guy who just bought the latest R6 and instead of riding it home and scrubbing tyres he put it on a trailer and when he got it home spent 2 hrs sanding the shiny stuff off the tyres before riding it LOL

One other thing....How did you forget they were new!!!

Out for my 1st ride on new Pilot Powers today. Damn careful I am today... & its just started to drizzle. Bloody slippery road & new tyres not the best combo.
Sorry to hear about the bin. Oggy nobs sound like they paid off for ya though
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

LOL true... true. So guess I am on the path now to customise it

looks for coin in pocket... (feck...)

Anyone know how to repair the plastic in fairings?

It looks like a type of black plastic... is it ABS plastic? can anyone recommend how I can repair it? (just one thumb nail sized hole and palm sized scrape to about 1/2 the normal thickness) or who to bring it to? I only want to repair it structurally as I have plans for the colour part.

I still like those M3's. Its just me who should have remembered I was on new tires.

Saslex... I don't think I'll be changing them anymore now. I like them.

I thought you need heat to scrube them in as well?

Maybe I can invent a Tire scrubber and sell them to tire shops.

A small hole like that - i'd fibreglass it. Quick and cheap and if your careful you'd never know there was a problem.

Re new tires - i've been told by a number of guys that the thing to do is spray some brake cleaner onto a cloth, wipe the tires down and rinse them quick. Never tried though.
