    Young Guys huh ????

got a ring from Sudeep (aka Motoracer)about 3 this afo, seems the wheel of the trailer I lent them to go to Manfield "just fell off" about 8ks out of taupo....

Rang them back and suggested they do the same thing as in "The Fastest Indian" movie, you know when the old guy gets the tree branch and ties it to the trailer to replace the wheel !!

But no, what do young guys do ?,, " oh its ok were waiting for AA recovery ""

Many a year ago a gaggle of us were coming back from neavesville (on the 25a kopu - hikuai road (sp?) when it was still open) from a big dirt ride and somewhere near pipiwai (sp?) the bike trailer lost a wheel. (I still have the KDX)

I was in the back seat on the drivers side and heard the noise as the trailer started dragging along the road. I looked to my right, by now the driver had already braked, and bouncing past us came the rear rh wheel off the trailer. Big bounces and looked all sort of slow motion.

It was a slight left corner and took us ages to find the wheel, big ditches on that road. The studs were shagged so we couldnt do the scavange nuts thing.

By this stage I thought the whole wheel bounding past thing was realy funny but the others kept looking at me like they thought it wasn' funny at all.

Anyway, we dragged the the trailer and bikes to a local's house and left them there over night and one of the team went back the next day.

Was it just the wheel that fell off, or did something break? Jon mentioned they dropped the trailor off in Taupo, and they are staying in sulpharcity for the night??

Hope they got it sorted and back home without too many more problems.

The bikes are fine! Hope they get the trailer sorted & get home in one piece. Big ups to Trumpy for helping them out too.
