Wellington - What A Beautiful Daaaayyyy (28 June)

I know we have had it cold all over the country, but today looking across the harbour from the hills in Eastbourne, and enjoying the ride, the song just came into my mind..........what a beautiful day.

Had to go out for work today and sneaked off up to Mt Vic on the way back. Just as the fog was clearing - just *cking magical. Wellington can be a truly happening place sometimes.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Hey Buck!

Nice day to be in the mighty EB! Was beautiful this morning about 6.30 when I headed into work - even got the "bonus" of fog in Petone. Blimming cold fingies by the time I made it into Welly though - by crikey!

Anyway, glad to hear that you enjoyed your ride to EB, it's a pretty nice piece of road, what with its 70 kph limit and curvey bits...

Was a good run out there a_h, fourth time in less than the week, but today was picture post card stuff.

Stopped in LH for a coffee then backup the valley across and up through Whitemans Valley across to Trentham and back into SV.

Drum, you're spot on, am really enjoying the rides.

Will post at end of week in the Buck's Update - spent good 40 minutes down near Fraser Park doing emergency practices and figure eigthing etc as well today.

Tell you what, it was even better riding in at 6:30am - perfectly still, light mist that makes everything look shiny, new, and exotic. It was one of the nicest rides to work I've ever had.
