    Supra vs ZX10 vs 636 - interesting

Pointless yet still interesting. That supra must have some serious balls, it nails the 636 but the zx10r leaves it sitting...still damn fast for a cage, must be at least 600-700 hp.

    Enjoyed the clip Brett.

I had a MkIII Supra once and loved it. Obviously I have made the right decision transfering my passion to bikes though!

obviously the car didn't have a shit show from a standing start, so to give it a chance a rolling start

And the funniest thing when I see those vids. Bikes are usually bone stock bar a can...

Seen a turbo busa go against a nos 800+hp viper too.. the turb'd bus got it. Another time a stock busa took off big time and then the viper went past with like 30k difference further up. Was impressive to see this car belting past a bus in full sing.
Same thing again with a 600awhp evo8.. a NO2'd R1 dicked it. The only thing to win out of all the vehicles it raced.. a nos r1. And there were some serious friggen cars up against it too. I think it's on streetfire or youtube.

Another time a 9.4sec drag supra against a turbo busa from 60mph. Supra spun it's wheels alittle bit was impressive.. bus anihillated it though. Later on in the vid the said supra (I think) blew up after racing a turbo bus again, Which was sad to see.

There is always something faster out there though...

I have aspirations to break the NZ land speed record some day... custom fairings like a cocoon and something big nasty and turbo'd. And a fuckload of room. Hehehehe... I think it is 342kmh from memory by some lemans Porsche?. A fully custom cocoon faired hypersports not disimilar to burt munroes speed demon (eg same coeficient of drag as a car) with a turbo and some once off boost levels should break that with ease. He got around 300kmh with 72Hp. A low coeficient of drag is all it takes.... and bikes suck at drag. shit that was a bad pun

I've got these vid clips at home on my pc, I tried uploading them one day but it didn't work. Can't remember why, either file type or file too large.
I've got quite a few others like this too.

That guy on the 636 must be a pussy. Theres no way a zx10 is that much faster on acceleration than a Zx636. The 636 should have toasted the supra 700hp or not. Theres only about 1sec difference between a ZX10 and a ZX636 over a standing 1/4.
Superdukes. Serving up shame to sportsbikes since ages ago.

Top end wise 40-50k REAL SPEED matters in those situations. Yes I have seen 636s indicate 282 or so kmh... and myself after being clocked at over 200 by a few big bikes on my 250cc... I doubt the accuracy of these speedos quite alot.
50k difference... means one bike stops pulling quite quickly. Down the quater they will get the same 10sec time with a perfect run. Do some mods and the thou will get into 9's easy, same with 600 with a very good run.. make it an 600-800m run and the results will be much different.
Best I have seen from a strapped 636 was 9.54? or something rediculous like that, I really don't think it was stock at all though.

In saying that.. these are roll-ons and as I said top end makes a big difference. That supra should have caught the zx10r later going past around ~320kmh if it was so quick... but it didn't. Weird.

I agree - on a ride I saw Buggy completely smash a near new M3 who really wanted to be king of the road This was on a straight bit of motorway too so there was no slowing down for corners involved.
