okay there are some of us think that the customizing of bikes in nz is set to boom, eg repainting bikes(to us here you see a repainted bike you say its been crashed, over in states, that is maybe right only 1/2 the time), but also adding your own style, and identy to your bike might start happening more in this country.

This in a way is a good thing, in others not so good(wallet mostly),

Go look at www.tapeworks.com for different designs, and see what you can do, tapeworks can make up any design you want pretty much.

Oddly enough I had a similiar train of thought recently, given that I need to get part of the fairing resprayed. I thought why not do the the whole bike matt black or somethign wild like pagan green. Came to the conclusion that I would do just that, if I planned on keeping the bike for some time, but to be honest the 750 or 1000 has me in its sights and its only a matter of time before I chop in the 600.

    A kumandsukme and blonde HIGHLIGHTS?????

Now what kind of impression would that give people?? As for black with a purple helmet, wtf??

Do a Rizla rep or an Alstare. Never seen an Alstare 1000 on these shores.

Or paint it in Honda colours with all the decals and shit. And then scare people when they see a Honda moving so fast. Double take anyone? Repsol Gixxer....

Note to self: amongst other things Dover is a sneaky bastid!!!

Yeah, paint it man. Sooooo many boring factory paint schemes out there.
Lots of bikers go on about being a bit different and alternative to cagers but when it comes to repairing or painting bikes they wuss out bigtime.

just make sure to take pictuers of it just before ad during painting, and you will not lose to much resale.

it just gives you proof that it hasnt been binned

couple of cans of black and white and you can have a cow-mobile...

I still say gun0metal black or black with metal flake would look the business... SAw a pic of this frosted grey vtr1000 looked the business.

My favorite paint job is the blue/silver mv... was gonna gdo my CBR a similar scheme before I sold it. Even bought the paint and everything...
