    You lucky, lucky bastard!
Welcome back Lou, did you take lots of photo's, can you share them with us poor bastards who only dream of such a trip?

Worked with them in the tunnel and again in the desert picking egg-fruit. None can speak english from what I could see. I'm sure they were all in the mafia. Were forever waving their arms around and yelling. A few of them seemed O.K.

hmmm Italy... nice spot for a holiday, some cute blokes there I seem to recall, and damn fine wine.

    I can understand

Hey Lou, I can understand how you feel. I arrived home today from New Caledonia. Supposedly 9 degrees when we arrived in Auckland, and 14 degrees in Napier. This was coming from their winter: about 25-29 degrees or so.

There was one morning where it was 18 degrees at 6am! It was so hot, but really good. Our hotel was across the road from the beach so we lived in the water as much as we could.

But glad you had a good time and got home safely etc. That was my first time travelling out of the country (And first time flying), and I love it!

    Defensively?
Like the young guy who passed a car on a left hand downhill sweeper and, to my amazement, threw the scooter on it's ear to cut across the nose of the car to make a right turn. I didn't think he'd make it.

You should have seen the celebrations in Bergamo when the penalty went in. They went nuts in the streets for 2 hours.
