Magazines you read for info on adventure riding?

    Hi there again

Just interested in which magazines you read or refer to for info on adventure riding?
I love to read mags about it, but as motorcycling is so diverse, it is hard to find any really good features/info for adventure riders here in NZ, I like to read about the bikes, equipment, other riders and hints and tips etc etc.
I currently read Kiwirider mag, is there any others that you can point me in the right direction to that I may enjoy reading?

    Cheers

These are general off road mags. Sure others have some more.

    NZ Dirt Rider

    Australasian Dirt Bike

There is also a good Aussie mag around called Trail bikes / Trail rider, hard to find but a good read.

Which I enjoy reading, thanks to the team that puts this together, however I am always looking for others that have similar info to read.

Are you thinking of "Trail Bike Adventure Magazine" (TBAM)? Now that it has amalgamated "SideTrack", it is the only dedicated adventure-riding magazine in this part of the world - and pretty good with it. Stunning photography. Trip reports from NZ make a regular appearance.

Linky. I've just renewed my subs last month, NZ$80.

Also on-line and not specifically NZ oriented (though there are NZers on it and a lot is transferable) is Horizons Unlimited - dedicated to touring the world. Lots of lists, tips, tricks, write-ups (including overseas people's tours of NZ) etc.

Thats the one! We have only been put onto it this year & have not seen it in many shops around here & often miss out from the one place we know off that stocks it. You got to be quick as it is popular. Thanks for the link.

It's distributed by one of the big players. Ask your local to search for it on their product list and order some in.

    Best Mag. out

Theres no doubt about it,the Australian magazine Trailbike Adventure is the best off road mag out.
It use to only come out 4 mthly, but is now out every 2 mths.Next issue is out in July. They are doing a project for owners of the Dual sport DRZ250 at the moment.
