Sorry to hear of the news about your sis man. I know a little bit about how she must be feeling at the moment (as a truck failed to take me out once).
Give her heaps of support, and don't forget about the mental anguish as well. Bones tend to heal faster than the mind sometimes.

Agreed, I went though an ankle & heel reconstruction a few years ago. (Anybody in H town hear about the guy who feel through Forlongs roof a few years back? :-) )

Hehe, I broke a screw in mine by running on my leg after one too many burbons. Thing was the leg was set too long, and it needed to be shorter as it wasn't healing. Took another op to fix though.

It was a pretty messy break to begin with, as my leg got wrapped aroung my frame beam. There were two breakes 100mm apart. Guess I had a 4" frame.

Terrible news. Those injuries will take some time to get over. Best wishes to your Sister and family.

Please add my wishes for a swift recovery to the list. Sounds like you have a tight family and there is heaps of support available. Reading the accident threads on here is certainly giving me pause. I hope it helps me think ahead when I'm riding.
