WOW
I have just read the post of his accident and all I can say is wow!
Finally nice to have some good news about a person that saves lives, protects property and is generally an idol to most of us kiwis, is finally after thousands of good deeds he has done for us , that one good deed has been returned.
It is great to see and hear that, and I realise that our lives aren't so bad after all

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
my own fault really.
Top effort Dave. i am sure that his recovery and return to work has had a lot to do with his peers being so supportive and encouraging. It is very easy coming off a bad injury, to be down on yourself so much that work/friends and family are the least important thing, and it is when depression insidiously creeps in, so you should be proud of your supportive efforts over the last 7 months.
He rode into our shop this morning with a big grin on his face. Bloody good to see![]()
RIP Phil (Pinky) SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND.
Good work mate I know all the hard work would be worth it when riding past those cages thinking suckers
