I remember riding past one of those little yappy dogs a while ago, it was just sitting there watching the bikes go by so i lifted my visor and started barking at it (like the idiot i am) so the dog decides it wants a piece and runs right out at me, thankfully i was the last bike so it didn't run in front of anyone else, but it almost managed to get its head under my back wheel.

Well done, but you wouldn't have been in this situation if the dog had been micro-chipped......

I hate dogs that bark at or chase bikes - I used to get some little yappy mutt come out and chase me every morning.I was using that bike in my avatar, and one morning I flipped, and chased him! All over the street, then he ran home and I followed chasing him all over the front lawn, around the trees, ripping the lawn to shreds with my MX knobs. Finally he went an hid and I carried on to work. From then on he would trott out to the gate and just watch me go past...that was one sorted anyway....

Yeah, the dogs attack brainwaves could have been transmitted via the chip to a satalite which could then have taken out the dog with a laser. The pollies really do know what they are doing on this one

    That's what I was wondering!
Good skills on the dog zero, it's amazing how good your skills get when a piece of you is about to be detached isn't it?

    Dear Mr Zeroindex,
My client Mr Cuddly Puppyeyes has instructed me to begin legal proceedings against you for the unprovoked attack on his person. It is not an offence for my client to cross the road which he was doing in a lawful manner before your vicious and unwarranted attack. He assures me that he looked both ways before starting to cross and that if your bike had been travelling within the speed limit he would have had ample time to cross safely. As for claiming that my client 'bared his teeth at you' as an excuse for you to assault him, he assures me that he was merely giving a friendly grin to what he thought was a fellow rebel as we all know bike riders are. It is not an offence for anybody to grin in this country as I'm sure you are aware and my client has suffered much distress due to your cowardly act. Therefore we are at present compiling an account for you to settle this matter with goodwill on both sides. At present my client is suffering trauma, bikeophobia, bootophopia, a bill for false teeth, is undergoing counselling and is booked for a medical examination re his heart. He now also has a fear of roads and loud noises and will never work again as a lapdog. Please do the decent thing and contact my office re settlement.

hahahaha, if he had just been 'crossing the road' at the rate he was running, and had no intention of biting me, he would've t-boned my bike right next to the footpeg..
