    If they were 21" & 18" I wouldn't have posted
Bloody cheap - prolly be a few bids, shame there isn't a buy now

just had some Shinko E705 fitted today. I wanted something a bit more aggressive but there isn't that may options with a 19" front.

Also the funds didn't allow for something with more of a knobbly tread pattern.
I paid $300 new for both front & rear. At Easter I'm planning on riding over the Dunstan trail/ Thompson track over to my caravan in Bannockburn
Day 2 over the Nevis to Garston up to Queenstown and over Skippers canyon and probley some other places

Also have to try make time to make a bash plate be for then as well
Contact me for all your Suzuki DRZ400 And Dr650 bash plate needs. Made to order

I am thinking for my next set of tires I might go *very* road bias.

I was thinking of the Pirelli MT90 A/T's since they are nice and cheap and pretty much fit the profile and have the right sizes 90/90-21 and 140/80-18

    Anyone got any recommendations?

I just put new tyres on my 950 - TKC80 on the front and an MT90 on the back.
The Pirellis (which came standard on 990/950s) are remarkably good on gravel.

+1 The MT 90 A/T on the front of the TDM is doing a sterling job. Far better than expected on wet roads too once you get past the wee bit of tread creep.

They'll be good, but don't blame me when you get less km's than with 705's

Dirt Action Services, Saxon Street have a rear here in ChCh now, fronts still coming.
17" or 18"(can't remember) rear (pic attached) sitting next to TKC80 rear mounted.... Mitas 644 Army rear cost about $188.
Mitas Army 21" Front expected to be about $139 so if the front works as well as the TKC front then may be worth a go at that price.
Front pattern is said to be very much the same as the rear one in picture attached.
The fronts are here now too.
Looks a lot like a E09 but deeper to me....
Pics are of the 21" Mitas Army front (new) next to an almost new 21" TKC80 which has enough kms on it to almost finish wearing the moulding tits off but for some reason has suffered some chunking.
