Currently got a set of AC10's on, but i'll be heading back to something mroe road friendly soon.
Quite impressed with wear of the TKC's that I had, and the performance on road too. No puncture issues.
Rear at the moment is a 140/70 Kenda road tire
Cost $180 fitted for the karoo3.

If anyone wants some tires cheap, my old man has loads of brand new dual purpose tires. They arent the best but $20 each. So you can't do complain too much haha. Unbranded chinese tires, 17s and 19s. They aren't road legal but look legit. Would take a knowledgeable officer to even know they didn't have the stamp of approval lol

    Sounds good but.....
    1. If I have an accident and cause harm, who is at fault if I am using non DOT approved tyres?
when the cops attend and investigate.

    2. If I hurt myself, the same answer I presume? Fu...ed!

    3. If the bike is damaged as a result, Insurance claim is goodnight nurse....same answer as above, Fu....ed!

Good for the trails and mx I would say but, duty of care to provide an all......even though they are cheap and nasty.

Yep, they’re cheap and nasty alright. A bit narrow also so they almost counter the effect of the 21 inch front, and make the DR turn in like a sports bike (almost). Dig through the gravel instead of sitting on top like the cool looking fat stone spitters.

    That’s cool. You can pay $180+ for a tyre. I won’t.

They lost me at F stop??????

back to tyres, just got a shinko 700 510/17 . Wider than the one i got on there now as it digs in and grips too well and won't slide much and seems perfectly in control so got the wider one in the hope those problems go away. Might last longer too cos the first one is wearing pretty fast for a roady tyre, bout the same as a dot knobby.

Also got a Kenda big block K784. Anyone ried one? Might be my Dustybutt tyre.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Whatever the camera tells me to use.

As for tyres, anything round, black, and cheap will do.

I got a 19' shinko 705 front here, wont use them again after the rear delaminated while on road trip it's the second time this has happened & of course cycle treads have been dodging the problem since I e-mailed them with the pic's etc... will post a pic tomorrow,

so it's hanging in my shed if needed for any one on a trip down this way who needs it, or I can post it
