Jesus, this is going to be a daunting task. Going to try and read this thread before asking my questions as they have almost certainly been answered already, and probably in more detail than I will understand LOL

Ok, I cheated, started about page 72 and skimmed a bit.

I am at the moment riding about 90% road. And a bit of a cheap arse.

Seems like the Shinko 705s might be a good bet?
When I am off seal, it is most likely to be easy stuff. Gravel roads, nOOb friendly stuff.

So what other tyre might be a good one for mainly commuting on seal and the odd easy weekend fang off seal?

Only cause youze hasn't tried the Shinko

The Mitas to me is a true 50/50 tyre.
The Shinko is 70/30 but does the off road quite well. I had a set on for the winter and it didn't stop me getting into the hills as the vids and pics show.

The Mitas will go about 30% further for about 30% more $$

My favorite 50/50 combo is an E07 rear and MT21 front.

    Don't jinx me!

But for that to happen they would actually have to deliver the tyre, seems that is looking unlikely.

I would have thought 4 days to deliver an overnight package would be enough, but with fastway(*cough*) couriers, they need just a bit more time.

    Yeah, arrived about 2pm.
Only 1.5 hrs after the lady said it would arrive on the phone this AM.
Only 3 hrs after the lady on the phone said it would arrive last night.
Only 3 days 5 hrs after it probably should have arrived.
