not sure if the e07 are made that big but i wouldn't think them to be any good on the soft stuff
All good, will catch up soon, best you think of a good place for me to test MR BIG out down your way

PS, you didnt think I was doing over a 120mph on the soft sand did you

you got to wait till the tide is full out and then run the gauntlet

Quoting myself, but after the Dustybutt my opinion has changed. Its a great tyre and I will get another one. 3200kms so far and its 3/4 worn so thats about par for course.

You boys must be throttle jockeys

About the same milliage I get out of the 760 trackmaster, replacing it at just under 4000ks with 500ks of tread left

not so much throttle , more to do with weight
127kgs dry so she's light in the arse.... just how i like my bikes
760's a good aggressive tyre, triboys had one on the back of his XR for the last year

Yep I ran one last year, got about 6000km out of it, was ok, prefer a TKC80 since they are about the same price ( I got 8000km out of the TKC ) both run in a 140/80

The Shinko 700 done OK on the DB1k..
It lost about 25% of its rubber over 1600km
    would have been 50/50 gravel/seal...
4000 kms seem possable if replaced at 75% worn...
Has a soft rubber so grips well on hard surfaces..
no chunks riped out & nobbs retained there leading edges quite well..
    130/17 is $150

That sounds positive. Looks like the DT will be getting a shinko 704 on the rear in the very near future. I'm at a loss to explain why the current tire has worn so quickly. It's a vee rubber with a similar tread pattern to the 705, I thought it would last forever. Seemed to have loads of tread left but when I gave the bike a once over after a couple of enthusiastic gravel & tar seal runs recently it's down to 2mm or so. Munted.

I've run about 4 of these on yhe back of the KLR. Never had a problem with them. Not that great in sand or mud, but ok.Best km would be about 4500, and worst was about 3500.

not sure they come in a 130 profile for 17" rims, I normally get the 5.10 / 17. Just picked a new one up today for $118 (not fitted)

Hi folks ...sorry this has probably been asked before but just want a fresh opinion for peace of mind . i have gone through alot of this thread and cant make up my mind
I just bought a DRZ 400 and it's running a kenda k270 on the rear and TW41 on the front . would like to go more aggressive on the front for better off road handling . what could you recommend ...was looking at a kenda k670 but not too sure . I'm fairly new to getting off the hard stuff so want as much confidence in the front end as i can get . will only use the bike for the odd fair weather commute and to get to the trails of course so happy to sacrifice on road capability for more off road .
basically looking for a good all rounder for the welly region .. if such a thing exists
