    Biker down in Chch...anyone know who?

    Heard thru a friend that someone on a bike collided with a truck last night, in the yaldhurst area of chch.... anyone?

    It's in this mornings paper. Unfortunately the rider didn't make it. Happened about 7pm last night. I was riding home at a similar time and the conditions were terrible, had a couple of close calls.

    It's nobody that I know.
    Was also riding home at 7pm, road conditions were slippery (at least once had both front-rear slide out simultaneously in corners) but otherwise visibility was average.
    90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.
