    Talking politics and religion

to prevent any rant/ravings is it worth us all to not include politics and religion on this site as most seem to get a bit excited about it?what do we all think?

Both piss me off no end but we do have an off topic section and this is what it's for.Hey some off us even talk about cars, sex, jokes, marriage,Boi fucken racers ,And other things that have nothing to do with bikes.
Even though I find it impossible to do myself, you don't have to read it.
Yeah some of us get a bit excited but that's only a very small part of any of us.It pays to keep that in mind.

Yeah I don't mind what people talk about in the Rave On thread. Politics, religion all can stay as far as I'm concerned, just doesn't mean I'll read it all and with so many members these days I haven't got the time to read all the postings anyway.
    Cheers

I'll be happy to leave religion alone but the polititians need slagging off on a regular basis.

Somehow I manage to completely avoid the religious ravings thread. It CAN be done! Of course it means I have to talk shit elsewhere :spudwhat:

    Don't Encourage It. Stop Posting

As you may have noticed, I have decided to stop posting in the Reg. Rav. thread because it is not helping us get on with each other. I recomend for the sake of friendship (yes, Zed, I do think of you as a friend) and harmony, that we all do the same. I jointed this site to learn more about bikes and meet others who ride as well. A bonus has been to meet some of you and to encourage new riders. I don't want to see this lost.

Weren't politics largely driving from religion in any event. Aren't much of the laws were presently must abide by driven from religious common law.....why the fuck can't I go shopping on Easter Sunday? That pisses me off - a prime example of the above - where politics is largely still a vehicle for the delivery of a religious framework for the law......

Anywho - I thought I would get in here before Zed takes this one over and starts preaching his bullshit again

Therefore - this thread is too intrinsically linked to the Religious Lunatic Thread that Zed is running.

Being one of those that has contributed a bit to the religious raving thread I think it's ok to be able to "rave" about things - I mean I think we're all adult enough to just not read things we're not interested in...surely?

I mean if there's a thread about something I'm not interested in I just don't read it - I kinda don't see what the big deal is.

I really enjoy this site b/c we can talk about bikes & other stuff as well.

    Cheers Cathy
