Fairing Blades

Heya, getting back into after no bike for 15 or so years, have bought a GSX750ES to get me going again, being a tall bugger I'm finding the fairing blade a bit low for me, is there any aftermarket ones you can get these days? Or someone that makes them from perspex?

I had a 750 ES back in the late 80s. As I remember the fairing was about right. Before deciding a higher fairing blade, try riding at slightly over 100 kmh then hold your left hand infront of your chest, but out from your body slightly. Gradually move your hand up and see where the air starts to get turbulent, then see how far below your helmet your hand is.

If you raise the fairing blade to the point that the turbulent air meets your helmet then you will have a very noisy ride. Either your head should be in clean undisturbed air above the line of the fairing blade, or you should have such a large windscreen that your head is completely in the bubble behind the screen.
