I pulled into the pits at Puke and put the XS1100 on the stand (a long time ago). Some guy and his 6ish kid come bowling over. I warned the guy about the bike being hot and basically got ignored. 2 seconds later the kid touched a front disc and it got real noisy. Little wee fingerprint left on the disc. I wouldn't have minded the kid sitting on it if I'd been asked.

In another instance took the old RD350 to a student pissup. Next morning the ignition leads were swapped and the throttle cables were pulled up and just sitting on the part where they go in the carb. I really didn't need it in my condition.

Its usually break-ins to steal stuff from cars but this was just vandalism, they didn't even unluck the drivers door. Mind you my car is bog standard with absolutely nothing of any value to pinch.

Righto then. Maybe something along the lines of "WTF do ya think you're doing?" would have been effective or "Excuse us lads, ya know that you have just knocked our mirrors & as you know...they're kinda important, blah, blah, blah."

    Breaking windows is FUN
Tho, i've only done it to cars i've owned/friends have owned and the windows had to be taken out.

I cant stand people tampering with other peoples crap, u think road bikes are bad... MX Bikes are like "omfg a dirt bike "jumps on" then they genrally drop it lucky theyre pretty hard to fuck up

    lol

Is it just me or is the teen subculture patois diverging so far from cultural linguistics norms that their communication attempts are almost indecipherable?

I also get the feeling that the above communication attempt has something to do with it being OK to break windows so long as they belong to your friends? I hope this chap is wearing a cricket box, because if he was my friend, his nads would be around liver level by now.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

After switching on my young'un translatrix discombobulator device, I gathered he was talking about breaking windows that had to be removed anyway. These windows either belonged to himself or his friends, i'm assuming with their permission.

Good work. I think the flux capacitor is broken in my discombobulator and that's why I didn't get it.

You might want to try reversing the polarity, it seems to fix everything on Star Trek.

Yes, I think that's the problem. Rettun and Sk8RBoi seem to have polarity problems - perhaps ECT might fix that.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Personally I find heating the Dilithium Crystals over a slowly roasting Babel Fish works best.
