Not sure if I can get that Rear Set welded back on though, I don't think it can be done on that material. That's all that's stopping me riding the bitch.
I'll ride in to Whg after i finish triming horses today with the soldering iron and plastic welding rod and have a look at it if you like. If I think I cannot do a good job on it I'll let you know. Kevin Povey 0211164199 does a good plastic welding job (he's not far from Planet Honda and does their stuff for them).

Undortunately there's a class of parent that thinks their kids should (a) be allowed to run amok and (b) they should never come to any harm as a result. Those would be the parents who see nothing wrong with their kid poking a dog with a stick, but demand it be put down if the kid gets bitten...

This reminds me when i was shopping with mum in whangarei at the big fresh this lady was shopping with her baby, i was looking at how cute the baby was and i saw it drop and lighter full of gas , i picked it up and gave it to the mother and said here i think you may have dropped this. she then gave it back to the baby and said ooh bubba here your to y OMFG what a stupid woman and i thought she will be the first to scream omg my baby's on fire !! help help!!
    stupid fucking woman

Ive had the alloy rear set welded up before - just need to find a good engineer (they might need an oven so it doesn't cool too quickly - I think that was the difficulty)

Gidday lads/ladies.... as we all know there is no respect these days for peoples property. Basically this is what happened last night:

Parked Fixxer in town to go see movie with my lovely g/f, came back to find out that some dickheads had decided to have a play with her. Cops were called by someone (cheers) and they came round to find it on it's side. They propped it back up and notified a guy at my g/f's place. At this stage I think it was dropped on it's right side, only damaging the right peg housing completely snapping it off. Luckily enough the mirror didn't smash off as usual, so at this stage I can't ride her home.

But here's the real killer, about an hour later some more guys decide to have a play (probably the same dickheads) and this time it's found on her other side with the guys running down the road. Left mirror smashed off and the left rear cowling cracked to shit. Windshield is snapped in half with cracking going down my front cowling. Oh yeah and the pillion handle bar is snapped right off.... don't ask me how the fuck they managed that.

But it's all good.... $500 later and I should be ok, and it's not as worse as it could've been.

Post pics tomorrow when I get Aunty's camera.
    Plastic welder anyone?
We saw your bike on the road on friday night, outside the backpackers on bank st.The cops were just pickin it up off the road at about 7:30.
I was wondering if it had been knocked over by some asshole.

Yeah Tiller, I got back around 9pm and was going 'wtf is it doing in the foyer of the Backpackers?'. *Looks at lack of mirror* "OH FU*K!!!!!!

RIB came and offered some good advice, going to suss out the plastic welding tomorrow. Seems it will be WAY cheaper.

Next bike I get is going to be naked!

Won't stop arseholes messing with it, but it should make it cheaper when it goes down (for whatever reason).
    ... and that's what I think.

Here's the pics of the damage, fairly simple but a huge hassle all the same.

    Heh, looks good in silver

Pretty tiny with the fairings off! had a close look at Frostys one when it was in that state.

The thing that worries me with naked bikes (I has one), instead of fiddling with cosmetic stuff, would the fuckers be tempted to play with engine shit instead

That's a real bugger, Ant. And so pointless and unnecessary.
Hope it's all fixed and on the road again soon.

By the way - what on earth is "Cybermatic"? Is there a robot who lives inside the fairing or summat?
