    Hayabusa track times...

Anyone know how fast a 'Busa is around Puke? Other tracks?

Just curious to know how the speed kings are point-to-point?

At a guess I'd say slower than a GSXR600 like over a minute around Puke.

Depends on the muppet turning the throttle really, but it's a hell of alotta bike to hustle round corners, anything below 1.04's round puke would be pretty good going i'd say.
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'

    Bus around Puke

Must get the bus on the track some day. I say the bus would be quicker at puke than a 600 because you would piss past the 600 on the back sraight and on the front the average speed would be more. If you put some effort in it is amazing how quick it is in the coners as well!. In the right hands you would get your knee down, i seem to have know problems in the corners, just have to give it allot more imput but once shes in ,it corners quite well for a big bike. At a tighter track like Taupo you wouldn't have a shit show, you would be lucky to find 3rd. Good rider and good tyres i think we might be quite supprised how quick you get around Puke.

When they tried racing them here when they came out they got smoked by anything over 750cc and over (GSXR750/1000, R1 etc) Ruapuna and Levels are a bit tighter and more technical than that shithole Pukekohe though.

I agree, on anthing tighter than Puke you would get smocked. Puke is a drag strip after all!!
