wierd.... im pretty sure there is a pic of guy being squid on a ZX10R in that exact corner but going the other way, gets peg down and takes exit stage right into the shrubery...

Looks like he just simply gave up and rolled off, the bike hadbn't fully lowside yet and hes already a goner???!!!

I know there is some serious scraping going on there but from what I could see on the pics his tyres hadn't broken contact yet. He could have pulled the bike up braked hard and dropped her in again and made it, I would say.

Never mind. Reckon he must have been saving on laser treatment for his tats.

No,you can see the front tyre is unloaded, the front wheel turning in.Strange, but it's grounded well forward and lifted the front wheel, most bikes will lift the rear wheel when they touch down. But he's certainly bailed early - maybe he was trying to hang off the inside and just fell over.Embaressing to be about on every motorcycling site on the web, over and over.

Ok, didn't see the front tyre coming up, not looking close enough at the piccy.
Well he's buggered alright but still bailed early. What a hoot, rolling off the side before you go down. Would have hurt a bit more I reckon, than trying to slide with the bike when you aint got any protection for the arms.

With full crash bars, saddle bags and all the other stuff like foot boards and exhausts etc,it'd be pretty safe to just stay on and slide with the bike and bail at an appropriate time. But he's on a blind bend, that'd be a left hander for us,and maybe he's worried about something coming the other way.In days of yore when bikes often had substantial crash bars front and rear riders would often stay on to the end, although they slide further.I have heard stories from those who rode in the '60's about guys laying it down on the crash bars and then picking it up and carrying on,just like spinning out in a car....they didn't even stop.
