    Couldn't believe my eyes!!!!!

This morning around 7.30am, a bike heading South on the Southern around Manukau City as I was heading North. Being overcast it was darker than lighter if you get my drift.

Black Helmet, Black litre class bike?? black riding gear, so far so good.

    No lights at all!!!!!!

Could hardly see him/her at all. Hopefully a blown fuse as most modern bike lights come on as soon as you fire tham up or turn them on. Pretty darn dangerous though. I hope they got to where they were going safely and in one peice.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

Black this, black that, sounds like he didn't wanna be seen! Ghostrider copycat wannabe maybe?

I see motorists all the time driving with their lights off when its dark, I often just flash my high beam to give them a wake up call and feel like I've done my good deed for the day!

So that's where he went... I was chatting with this biker, then suddenly a puff of smoke and whoosh, he was gone!

My gear is all colour coordinated... black with black and black.
    Bike is black too.

Wasn't planned that way but I'm happy with it especially if it slightly hints of evil.

Motorists don't register dayglo vests, they register perceived threats.
So to the extent that black may suggest a threat.. so far so good!

I dont get this - dont you look at your speedo? Everytime I see a car driving at night with no lights on, I wonder if they ever look at their dash. Never think to check the cars temperature, the amount of gas remaining, how fast you are going? Pretty hard to read the dash when the headlights are off because not only are your dashboard lights off, but also most cars have the gauges recessed so that even the street lamps wont shine on them.

Driving with no headlights is one thing but for God's sake people, make sure you check how fast you are going. SPEED KILLS - didn't you know?

Wouldn't want Helen Clark as my mother. Screws me enough now for taxes so imagine what the home boarding rate would be.
