    I presume that reads as:

    45 HP CRANK ZXR 250C INLINE-FOUR FOUR STROKE@ 145KG
    27 HP CRANK GT 250R V-TWIN FOUR STROKE @ 155KG
    19 HP CRANK GILERA 180CC TWO STROKE @ 105KG

Point being, in retrospective of the GT 250R's traits it is not slow. Although it is no where near the fastest.

I imagine a good exhuast would give it a lot more power too, it would be interesting to see how much extra power is acheived with this particular new exhuast considering the stock ones are rather restrictive.

EDIT: Who cares anyway, the GT does highway speeds and more. If a person only enjoys a bike going fast then I don't think they'll be riding long unless you hold a career in racing. Stop knocking the fucken hyosungs, they are alright for what they are.

Rember the zxr is 12 years old and gtr is new with thoughs 1/4 mile times and a gtr is slow why are you bothering to talk it up?

I'm only interested in correcting false comments so that prospective buyers of a Hyosung who might happen across such a thread have accurate information to base their decision on. When I upgrade my next bike more than likely isn't going to be a Hyosung, however I'm excited to see a company develop its brand in a Jap dominated market. Sounds stupid, but I suppose it is the same as someone who likes Rugby and follows a certain player through their career.

12 years ago full fairing sport bikes like the ZXR CBR were built as race road bikes.
you should be comparing the GTR to a full fairing comuting bike of the day. like the ZZR.

Shit that's friggen cheap for a CF can... what are the mounting points like? I'm looking for another can for my bike, have 3 already :|

60mm between mount holes and in triangular fashion is what I'm looking for.

Are they very loud or easily made louder if they are very quiet? I don't want a silent bike I need something pretty free flowing cus that's what it's tuned for..

edit: just saw spring clips... argh

Seems like an ok pipe for the price Definitely a good candidate for road rash replacement.

As far as the Hyosung vs 250/4 goes... one is old and slow no matter how you look at it, possibly screwed to within an inch of its life, but fashionable... the other is new and slower still, with the worst panel fit / general finish I've seen on anything new in a long time. Might as well ride a second hand GN250 till you can buy something that's not either over priced, or shoddily built.

    Thumbs up

4/4's aren't slow. Compare them to the grand prix 250's of yester-year, honda RC162 and the like. Incredible machines.
