VTWIN- SUPERBIKE
Wellington to Palmerston North and back using different roads for the return, great day great ride, saw lots of other bikers out there two. Hope you all made it safely, shame about all the cars out today as well though, crazy buggers.
It's not where you go, it's the going.
I went up the west coast from Te Aku to Port Waikato, refueled at Tuakau, and came home by various routes both sides of SH22.Saw lots of road damage and slips, had to deal with various wandering stock...heaps of cows.Fantastic views, saw no car practicaly the whole ride.222kms and 4 hrs on the road.
left Drury at 9.15 am and headed to Tauranga through the back roads. Good fast blast over the Kaimais and Old Te Aroha road, back up through Kawakawa bay and Clevedon, then the Hunua Gorge, back home at 2.10pm and 430kms on the clock.![]()

Came back from Coromandel mid-afternoon in magnificent conditions. Not a single bike parked up in Corowhen I left, but saw a few heading north up the coast road. didn't see a single bike on the road when I left Tokoroa at dawn on Sat to head up there. Mind you, it was blowing a gale and pouring down most of the way, but still good fun![]()
Ahh so you were one of the hundreds of bikes that whizzed past my place throughout the dayOriginally Posted by beyond

Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"
Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

If some of the people that were in the Hillsbourough area this arvo were KB'ers and you acknowledged me sorry for not returning the favour but keeping the hands on the bars is a priority for me at the moment![]()
Was rather impressed also today. Had told my better half I be out for a few hours and I would let her know I ok in an hour or so........we about 3 hours later I realised I had forgotten to ringSo pulled on to a side road to give the missus a ring. Passing biker saw me there swung around to make sure I was ok after seeing my Lemon Plate. Nice to know if I did need some help people would stop
