The What A Beautiful Day thread today got some good feedback from around the whole country, reckon it could be worthy of a stickie "This Weekend Where Did You Go"....on a bike that is.

Ok I will do my quick spill out, went to Raglan with Mrs for two nites and got back today at 3.30.

What on earth ! Bikes dominated the roads, all over the place so rushed home beacuse I really wanted to jump on my bike and ride! Got back and took it for a ride.

Txt my mates but they were busy so went alone, till I met a bunch of guys at Caltex in Dairy Flat and went riding with them haha! Lame I know but I wasn't alone

Round the Wellington coast from Oriental Bay to Owhiro Bay - a fair amount of traffic all the way (and crawling stop-start through town), but then practice is what I need ... I'm much better at trickling along at the lower limit of first gear than I was. Temp gauge didn't look so happy though

Gidday rwh, it certainly was crazy around there this afternoon. Know what you mean about the slow trickling along.

Got out on the dirt bike in Waiuku yesterday morning, stopped at one point to watch some rally cars blasting round in the forest. Then got out on the road in the afternoon, had some chores to do all over the city so took the bike as it was such a lovely day. Bikes were everywhere, great to see.

165kph run from Newmarket to the Bombay service station on SH1 (Southern Motorway). Didn't see any cops. Turned around and came back, radar detector saved me twice...

I was up in Ohakune and it was a great weekend (except for the wind). I was driving a minivan on the way home on Sunday and I notices heaps of crusiers heading north anyone here involved in that?

I am jealous of anyone who is out riding right now!

Started work at 1600 hours. Come 0000 hours I was supposed to be relieved by the night shift except there was no one coming because someone stuffed up. Ended up working through to 0800 hours as well. In saying that, I was reciently helped attend a ride as part of a mental health day, so I'm not going to complain. That and I got to watch moto gp and get paid very well to do so...

HMCC ride: Hamilton to Matamata for lunch, then Te Aroha hot pools, then back to Hamilton. Ride length: 170km hooray for Sunnydays
