A GSXR for the hemorroid crowd

Okay this is one of those instances where a camera would have been handy, however I'll just have to make do with my feeble discriptive powers instead so bare with me.

Walking down queen street on thursday night and I spied the front of a tasty black GSXR1000 poking out from behind a bus shelter on the footpath. As I walked by I had a good look at the entire bike, and I nearly fell off my feet in horror.

Okay imagine you want a thicker seat, no problem many people like a plusher cushion for the posterior and on long hauls its a life saver. but on this bike the owner had gone for the MEGA MEGA MEGA plush seat. This is no exaggeration, the new seat had to have been 4 - 5 times the thickness of the original, it was MASSIVE and came up half the height of the tank and would have been the same height as the stock pillion seat, if the pillion hadn't had the same treatment. Two huge over inflated leather cushions, perched on top of 160Kg of pure menace!!!!!!!

Okay, maybe the owner and pillion are very sensitive and need all the comfort they can get and if they do huge K's then this is a good idea, also if the owner is a little long in the leg this will increase ride height, all good things.
However, and bare in mind its a black bike, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR GETTING THEM COVERED IN BRIGHT RED LEATHER.

Holy shit they looked like a couple of weeping sores on a baboons arse, why on earth would anyone do that to such an good looking bike. It looked like a chesterfield couch, it was horrible.

Now if this bike is familiar to anyone here or you think you own it, then SORT IT OUT, impressable kids where in the area, the next generation of bikers, and they where just pointing and laughing their snotty little heads off, not cool ,not cool at all.

Was it all matte black K5, with a very subtle copper flake in it? Did it have raised clip-ons on it? And a pack rack?

If so then I know the bike, it was my first one that got rebuilt. Can't remember the plate number.

Maybe the rider is a shortarse and needs booster cushions to see over the dashboard......

I feel really bad now....no wait I don't...colourblindness is not a symptom of being eastern european, well at least of none of the stereotypes I'm familiar with.

One question for your friends boyfriend....WHY RED ????
