    Okay...

If you believe that dogs have rights, etc... blah blah blah, they must also be responsible for their own actions. - Showing agression towards humans - shoot on sight.

If you on the other hand, believe the owners are completely responsible for their dogs, etc... the dogs are just property of owners, if the owners can't responsibly control their property, get rid of the property. (ie shoot dogs)
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........

Thats not what I'm saying. Had either of these dogs tried to attack Sam or I, it would be a completely different story.

And I do believe that if a dog attacks a person (unprovoked) then they should be destroyed. If they are provoked then the person fully deserves whats coming (Unless its a child... then again its a different story).

And if a dog does attack someone, on top of the dog being destroyed the owner should be punished too, for not making sure the dog is unable to attack people. Like a cage driver killing someone, in effect the car is a weapon, and in the case of a dog, the dog is a weapon too.

With my quote that your quoted that was in response to Jim2 as I thought he was refering to shooting the dogs for sitting around doing nothing...

When I said a dog showing agression, I meant a dog coming within 50m of me...

[edit - for any reason, and also 50m of my house]
