A cage tried to kill me...

I know bikers tend exaggerate a lil bit and say that cagers are all out to get us but this guy.... man...

I was tootling along out of Flagstaff (Hamiltron) and pulled up at a T intersection to turn left. It has two lanes one for people turning left, one for people turning right. I'm in the right hand tyre track of the people turning left lane. The 4x4 that had been following me quite closely pulls up to the left of me, winds down his window and yells a stream of incoherent neanderthal speak to which I reply with my middle finger. He yells some more as I ride off somewhat puzzled. Not quite sure what that was all about, maybe it's because I was only going 60 in a 50 zone ...hmmm anyways.

He follows me and stays right up my ass even though I overtake a few people he keeps following me.
I get to Gordington, enter the 70 zone and slow right down to 70. Naturally he takes it upon himself to pull up along my left side, he looks at me and starts moving over towards me and starts physically pushing me and my bike with his 4x4 into the oncoming traffic. Fuck that. I brake and let him go.

I was kinda mad so followed him for about 50km watching him drive like a retard overtaking other people in some rather stupid places. I'm not sure if it was to get away from me or if that's the way he normally drives.
Anyways if you see a grey 4x4, rego number WN7798 it may pay to stear well clear of this moron.
Aside from that it was actually a damn fine ride, starting to find my zone a lot quicker now

Go to the cop shop and lay a complaint, that was attempted murder maybe a call form the police will sharpen his act! In the states you would be able to reply with deadly force !

    What the hell?!

I agree with Saslex. You've got his rego and everything. There is no way he can justify those sort of actions. There is nothing you can do that should make a cage think think that it's their right to push you into traffic (i.e. try to kill you).

People like this need to be taken off the road.

Yeah, what is this all about? I've seen a couple of references to finding where someone lives of their registration ... can you really reverse engineer a rego into an address as a 'civilian'?

Or next time - don't look at him in the eye - don't give him the finger - just use your lanesplitting skills and put a couple of hundred meters between you.

Total time 5 seconds - end of problem.

You never know who the other guy is - a drunk, high on P, extremely angry cos he was fired, ripped off, found his wife cheating on him, clinically insane, a guy who's good at fighting and likes picking fights, etc......

Lay the complaint asap, make it obvious to them how pissed off you are and scared etc. Keep a sharp eye out fo rthe same nutjob from now on.
BTW you can get address and owner details from the post office if you pay a small fee and show your photo ID.

Yep, just go to the post office, costs $2 or something...sometimes the cop at the shop will give it to you, but I don't think they're meant to.

There was talk that they would stop selling such info at the post office.
