    Actually, someone was selling something very similar (probably a Chinese rip-off) on TradeMe. At first I thought, "Kewl!", then I had the same thought as rogerd - i.e., that you'd probably get rogered if you crashed wearing one.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    I saw a similar thing for sale in Korea, I had a close look, its a very thing shell, like ice cream container or even thinner. You'd be fine depending on what you were keeping inside. Not z-nails then.
