Well done.

Congratulations! I remember well the feeling of getting a full license and the possibilities that it opened up. It even seemed to make a 250cc bike go better...

Congratulations, I just got my full licence about 3 weeks ago and I was so nervous when there was really nothing to be nervous about but yeah feels like a great achievement once its over and they say you've passed. I bought a brand new black SV1000SK6 the week before I sat my licence so I knew I had an incentive there waiting for me. So I went from a VTR250 straight on to the SV1000S, and I have to say it's wicked and I love it, put new Neptune pipes on it too and it just so happened my bike was the first bike for the new black textured stainless pipes to go on and sounds wicked. So yeah def get a bigger bike when you are ready as really it's all to do with your wrist action not really the full horsepower of the bike. Good luck.![]()
Awesome Maggs![]()
congrats to both you & Gmgirl
Thanx to all.
I still cant believe its finaly over. But maybe in a few days i will start coming to terms with it
It feels awesome tho, my nerves started calming down a wee bit, so its all good. Im definitely not gona jump and buy the first bike i see. Now as im not stuck with the 250 range ONLY, and can choose wotever i pretty much like (not too heavy tho) it feels even better, and makes the whole licence process more worth it. The next toy would still be a sports bike, I will probably start window shopping again
in couple of weeks i reckon.

Wicked! Congrants to you as well. And it does feel like you've done something huge even tho it was not much different to the normal way you ride your bike. It's only nerves nerves and nerves :>Originally Posted by GMGirl

Make sure u dnt do more than 50km/h after the lights in caversham, all the way up the hill keep ur speed rite. And then ride 50 until theres 100km/h sign on the motorway. I had to take the very first exit out, and then back to town. And again - keep ur speed rite. And do heaps of head-checks and look into ur mirror/s. The whole test was like 40 mins. I think you shud be sweet.
