Comfortable seat recommendations for 2004 SV650S

Someone mentioned that there is a custom seat maker down south somewhere. Does anyone have the contact details for the person?

Also, what custom seats would you recommend for more of the sport touring use on the SV650?

    Thanks,

    Adam

Ebay is worth a look to as you quite often see Corbin seats on there for SVs TLs etc at pretty good prices.

Had you thought of just eating a whole lot of pies and getting a fat arse?

Well when I finally get my arse on a bike I'm sure it'll be padded enough not to need seat modifications!

The heavier you get the worse it gets. Your (anyone's - mine too) weight squeezes the "padding" out to the side and because of a lack of exercise your once magnificent glutes have atrophied into beef jerky, and pretty soon your arse bones have found the plastic base of your seat.

no its poor foam in motorbike seats, they design them for soft from new, problem is soft new, means soft turns to useless after some years and use.

My seat was re-manufactured by In Car Upholstery, just outside Kumeu.

Speak to Elroy he does incredible things with upholstery taking the "Best Pro import interior" for the last 2 years at the Autosalon.

    Tel 09 411 5155

    Its so damn comfy too
