    Slip in Manawatu Gorge

Just got this from police comms in case anyone is heading this way:

Police advise due to a slip on the Manawatu Gorge on the Ashhurst side the road is down to one lane. It is unknown how long this will be in place until work crews arrive. Motorists advised to use caution and follow all instructions.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

The question is... will this affect bikes at all???

Gotta love being on 2 wheels when things like this happen!

    Thanks

Just went for a ride to the gorge! (doh!!! before I read this...)

and it is quite close to the palmy side of the gorge and it's down to 1 lane looks like the p*#@s are attending... saw it and came right back.... it started to spit down there any way and getting fairly gusty....
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........
