Yep, I Reckon they are $ for $. They are a bit of a bargain really.
Trouble is I don't fit on them as well as I once used to.
So, I got the 600 because I'm getting older, and lazier.
600 does handle the wind heaps better though.

I think 250's are under rated too. Used to take my ex's GSX out on rides with the lads, and they wondered why they ever bothered to get a big bike at times. Couldn't shake me (Or keep up through the twisty bits) .

Thing is everybody has to start somewhere, and then they get something bigger. Some of the skilled will revert back to a little bike as a bit of a toy.
