This is NOT a comment about this particular incident, OK..
But I often see people on bikes doing DUMB things. Damned near had myself a scooter for a hood ornament on my ute last week because the twerp riding it did a right turn (Mt Maunganui, Totara St into Rata St) without even looking, let alone slow down. Now, if said scooter had become my hood ornament, would I have been one of those "Effin Cagers" so often written about in here?
Ride carefully, people. Sometimes it's not just the cage pilots that are out to get us.

Tis true, good and bad in all. We automatically jump to the conclusion that it is a cager at fault, and the rider was the innocent party that got creamed.

I'm sure that was the case in this instance (no disrespect intended), but isn't always the case.

I too have nearly had a number of hood ornaments, between scooters and mini choppers, and seen some normal bikers do some seriously dumb shit.

Play safe where you can play safe, otherwise be careful, and make sure you don't end up dead because of yours or a cagers F up.

My Neice lives in Auckland and rides a Busa. Hope it wasn't her ! Not in direct touch with the family anymore but heard she got herself the fastest Suzie so assuming it was the Busa being a 1400cc.
Then came the day when cages were confined to zoos.. and the bipedals ruled the earth again.. Tu@ advt # 666 Return of the beasties
