    Sao Joaquim

I was reading a blog maintained by a fellow motorcyclist and noted one of their journeys passed through the mountain roads to Sao Joaquim.

There were only a handful of pictures I could find showing this road, but there were plenty of descriptions and accounts of experiences. In the particular blog I read, the fella says something along the lines of "The road is so twisty, coaches and what not have to stop and reverse to get around some of the corners".

Brazil aye; sexy ladies, beautiful scenery and mind blowing roads.

What's more, that particular Soa Joaquim road is very well maintained.

    Bastards !!

I once traveled a road between france and spain (in a car unfortunetly), built by EU funding, so they could say the mountain passes are open all year round. It was mill pond flat, ZERO traffic, stunning views. We came around one corner and saw a deer standing at the side of the road have his lunch (so not much traffic ever). One day when I'm back that way with a bike I'm going to ride up that road, and turn around and go back down and continue that for all day...........

That road would definitely make anyone's "Top 5" list.
