No you can't. You have to remain stationary and hold the bus up.
    This is local Govt logic.

I was wondering the same thing....how silly.

As for the green paint thing, I'm almost sure I read an article about that a wee way back where they were trying to find alternatives to the green paint as they were aware it would begin to wear off.

It's not as though the paint is any worse, more that there are more tyres going over it, I would think. After all, apart from us, who rides consistently on white lines?

(And who would want that super-slippery paint on bus lanes anyway, even if they did stay green? It's a best-of-both-worlds argument I guess.)

Cover the whole country in various colours of shell-grip, wouldn't cost that much, maybe a few BILLION, but worth it.

I've gone thru the B light at least twice I can think of recently where a cop has been able to see me (intersection of Gt North and Surrey) and they looked and off I went.

Might be local govt logic but not cop logic

In a bus lane with 4 buses behind me here in sydney, went when light said B. Coppa pulls me up says "it's B for buses not B for bikes" and wrote out a ticket for running a red light. I said "that's fucking Bullshit" so he Busted me for speeding as well the Bastard - 80 in a 70 zone.

Really got to learn to keep my mouth shut.
