Coming over Nui Hill last night..on the Hutt side going up...it was a bit wet.
Gave it to much gas coming into a sweeping lefthander, my back wheel must have been crosssing the Cateyes at the time.
Did'nt have a chance, bike just flopped down on the left side.....last thing I remember was the bike suddenly drpping straight down on its left side...then it sliding away from me followed by Concrete, Sky, Concrete Sky with a long skid on my back at the end....
The bike itself was ok, the rear fairing was wasted, the crash bung on the left was pretty worn down, did its job though, fairing at front ok. Some big scratches on the oil casing??
Yep it was my own fault...no excuses there.......my poor bike....sniff sniff
Insurance is going to get it looked at.
I am fine, thank God for my leather suit with the armour....my ribs are bruised on right side, my left shoulder bruised and my left knee has a mean gash in it despite the armour!!! My left knee on the leather is completely worn through to armour....damn......
So yeah no more riding for me for a little while....
